Roland Cailles
My Story
I graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communication, a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Web Development. At the time, it was the closest approximation one could get to a social media degree. Now students can graduate with a masters in social media. It blows my mind.
I have always been passionate about entertainment. I did my last semester of college learning movie and music marketing on a “study abroad’ program in Los Angeles. Early in my agency career, I worked with clients in both industries, big names like the pop star Kesha, Comedy Central, and The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. From there I helped my agency close our first big social client, penning entertainment social strategy for Citibank.
My work brought me to Las Vegas. In the Entertainment Capital, I devoted my energy to the social strategy for MGM Resorts, its hotel brands, arenas and theaters. I built further experience promoting citywide events for the NFL, NBA, NCAA, and F1, to name a few, as well as global music tours and artist residencies.
